Fall is certainly here and my social media news feed is filling up with pictures of exciting fall activities! All this fun news feed inspiration still has me in the fall decorating mood and what screams fall more than old trucks and pumpkin patches??! I had items for both on hand so I cleared a kitchen shelf and went to work!

A friend of mine picked up the most perfect metal truck (similar) for me last year while out shopping. It’s a beautiful sea-foam color and I knew I wanted to incorporate it somehow. Soooo, I knew that was my starting point. I added some velvet and buffalo plaid pumpkins and finished it off with some moss that I had on hand to give it the perfect fall vibe. I also had a rotating chalkboard sign (similar) that is typically a part of this shelf’s decor’ anyway that was perfect for a quick Pumpkin Patch sign.

This shelf is always home to my Flour, Corn Meal and Sugar jars (similar) that my momma found at T.J. Maxx a couple years ago. I already had them marked with cute chalkboard tags so they flowed perfectly with everything else. I added a mini pillow, a wooden sign and some more pumpkins from my fall stash to complete this section of the shelf.

To finish off the look of the shelf, I added a framed print that I found free online last season along with some more pumpkins. I also included my honey jar (that makes the PERFECT candy jar) from Mary and Martha. I filled it with some caramel squares to add some fall yumminess! Finally, I filled a painted mason jar with some sunflowers and added a sea-foam sign to tie the whole look together.

There is just something about decorating for Fall that adds the perfect amount of warmth to your home! I hope that by sharing you are inspired to create your own shelf design. Oh and I can’t close out without giving props to my hubby that built the floating shelf for me when we purchased the house. It has been one of my favorite spaces to decorate!

It is always my hope that by sharing you are encouraged to design your space to be one that you love and one that you are comfortable sharing with others. Be sure to let me know if you enjoyed this blog post by sharing to your own page or dropping a comment below! Happy decorating friends!
